Ican imagine that anyone who ran against her, and lost, would probably be so humiliated they would never run for anything else again.

Reading the comments, the one that said it all was " She is obviously overqualified for a position in Congress, Obama should appoint her as Sekatery of Ejukashun."

Kinda gives a whole new meaning to the term "Florida Cracker" doesn't it.

She may be but they love her in the 3rd District in FL. She got elected to congress in 1992 after spending 10 years in the Florida House.

Here is her bio off of her congressional web site:

A native of Jacksonville, Florida, Congresswoman Brown served in the Florida House of Representatives for ten years before coming to Washington. Congresswoman Brown attended the Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University where she earned a Bachelor of Science Degree. Well, now after reading this bio I don't feel so bad. She got her degree at Florida A&M which means she's a Rattler at heart. You can get any number of Masters Degrees from UF without ever stepping foot on campus, and I don't even have any idea what an "Education Specialist Degree" is.

And for what it's worth, I've been a Gator fan my whole life, lived in Gainesville, went to the University, and I have NEVER heard the "1,2,3,4,5..." cheer that she performed.

However, watching the 'captioned version' with the sound off was even funnier.

I have always considered the people of New York, Massachusetts, and California, to be somewhat touched in the head due to the POSs they elect to hold office and represent them. I guess I will have to add Florida to that list.
