You know you're getting old when

Turned 71 in Oct.
Last month....
Had a large stick caught up under my mule (Kawasaki)
at the deer lease for and afternoon hunt.
Wife was with me....

I laid down flat on my back on the logging trail to remove
the stick and told the wife to slowly pull forward in the mule.
Stick came off.

But...I was laying flat on my back in the middle of a
loggin trail trying to get back up.
I looked like a stinking turtle that had been placed on it's
shell trying to get back on his feet.

When you're bent over working on your snowblower and go to stand up, and you can't, because of the pain. Took me about 3 minutes to stand up straight.

About 12 years ago when was 55, I used to stop a McDonald's for McBreakfast I got the same thing every time, so I knew exactly what it cost. I got to the window to pay one morning and my bill was considerably less. I told the lady that she had under charged me. She said she had given me their senior citizen's discount. I said "But I'm not a senior citizen". She said" Your close enough" Man, that hurt! I told a true senior citizen friend about it and he about fell off his chair laughing. It's funny now, but it wasn't too funny to me then.

When my wife was 30 we were at a store and the clerk called her ma’am… she was horrified. A few days later we were at a different store and the clerk asked her if it was her mom’s credit card, so that made her day.

How much did you pay the clerk to say that?
