41 Special

I just finished redoing the grips on this model 58. Rebored 520 barrel to 41 and a rechambered model 28 cylinder to 41 Special. It wears Bowens white line combat sights and a set of Roy
Fishpaw RB combat grips I had to cut apart and rebuild to fit the gun after Alan Harton round butted it.

629-4(?) MG.
629-4(?) converted to .45 ACP just before Bowen stopped doing such.

I have used all three for LEOSA shoots.

Had to think a minute. I have 3, my first Smith I bought new in 78, a 28-24". Second is my 625-2 4" 45acp and 3rd is a beautiful nickel 29-2 with presentation case, papers and tools. My dad surprised me one evening and gave this one to me. It's a very special gun.

I used to have one of these that I really regret selling. Pretty sure it was the first S&W that I purchased. It was a lot of fun but I ended up selling it years before I really caught the "bug".
