My first two handguns came to me as a pair. At the time, in the mid-80's, I was one of the only guys in town running Jawa and ČZ motorcycles. A motorcycle buddy had a couple of ČZ pistols, a vz.52 and a vz50, and he thought I ought to have them. I had heard about the ČZ guns from other motorheads, so was intrigued, and my friend made me a pretty good price.
For some reason, my device is only letting me upload the one photo, so only the 52 is pictured. The ČZ52 has to be one of the homeliest guns I have ever seen. It is fun to shoot, though, with the snappy 7.62x25 round.
The knife is my first Anza, bought a couple of years earlier at a motorcycle swap meet in St. Paul. The maker, Charlie Davis, was around somewhere, but I didn't meet him. The booth was manned by a young lady who I took to be his wife or girl friend.
Edit: here's the vz.50. I have no idea why it is turned upside down, when the first one only rotated a quarter turn. I have better pics of this gun, somewhere.
