Your "Handle"

An adjective that describes a lack of an industrious nature and my initials.

Captain Torque Wrench has been a nickname for a long time. Yes, there is a back story. No, I won't tell you. I know what you're thinking and you're wrong. The story is completely G rated.

Sometimes I just get called Wrench these days. No need for formal title all the time.

My handle

Owed to Marge Simpson, from the Simpsons, when the itchy and scratchy cartoon was banned, in court the man in the stand advocating the show said...."if we don't come up with the ideas for shows who will, Her? pointing at Marge, she thought and then said....."how about GhostMutt" It made me belly laugh and has since been my handle on numerous forums/sites. Also became more apt when one of my fav films was released....Ghost Dog, with Forrest Whittaker...that's the story behind my handle :)

My cottage is located in Shantycreek. I also belong to the Chain O Lakes Sportsman Club. For $45.00 a year its a shooting paradise.

Mine's pretty easy - (1) I'm from PA, (2) I love to study the American Civil War (although it wasn't a civil war) / War for Southern Independence, and (3) I'm a southern sympathizer!

Well my name really is Harry Dale. When I was a kid and I would get in trouble my mom would always give me that "you ought to know better" look--a look that all mothers master--- and would always say my name like haaaareee DALE. I miss my mom.

I was a promotions rep for a couple local concert magazines (Metro Times & Detour Magazine) 8 or 9 years ago. Saw a lot of awesome independent bands and met some really nice people. So, I like indie rock music.

Cocked and Locked...Sounds good to me...Great looking pieces..

When I got on the Net, a while back now, I was shooting at the premiere bowling pin match in the U.S., the Second Chance Shoot.

It made Central Lake, Michigan the world capital of pin shooting for a
week every June from 1973 to 1998. I shot from 1988 to the end and still miss it.

My pin gun, eventually, was a custom ParaCaspian hybrid. My load
was 230 grain LSWC, or FMJ over a fairly heavy charge of Unique.

ACP230 seemed like a good screen name.

Inside joke with myself...........

Gauchos are skilled cowboys

They live on the Pampas...........hard lonely country

They use Bolos

They are skilled and dangerous with knives

Nobody seems to know how self reliant and tough they are.

They do not speak english.....

I am not a Goucho or an Olmec.................

I wanted to use my first name: Colin, but it was taken. I don't think that Colin has posted in many years. Perhaps I could have gone with my first and last names, as many on the forum have done, but i went with my attribute, a large nose. I'm not as good a swordsman or poet as Cyrano, but I admire him a lot. Don't know if the original, 17th century, Cyrano was a swordsman and poet as was the hero of Edmond Rostand's play, but he had a large nose and was a writer and philosopher.

My middle name Dean and I was called Deano which was already taken so I added dog for my love of dogs.
