Your Last S&W Revolver Acquisition???

My most recent was in March of this year.

A Model 360, my first ever brand new S&W revolver. Up til then, my newest revolver was over 30 years old.

I wasn't crazy about the color of factory grips, so I put these Altamont grips on it.

My last Smiths were a pair of 60-10s I found 3 months apart. I looked for years for the first one and I definitely couldn't say no to the second.

An ordinary model 64 LE trade in with lock that unlike my model 10 trade ins was shot very little and locks up tight. For $300 OTD I couldn't pass it up.

Picked up a Model 36, square butt, a few days back. With box, papers and such. It's been fired a few times, but not often I don't think.

A 6.5" 24-3 this past April from a member on here. I love the .44 Spl and had been looking for one for awhile but the ones on GB at the time we're way high.

Funny you should mention a 17-3.

I got several at about the same time: A 66-1 4", 19-3 nickel 4" w/TH TT RR WO target grips, 28-0 4 screw 4" w/ smooth .400 trigger, white insert ramp front sight and a suspected action job from Smith in 7/71. Probably letter the 28.

I bought three in the past month a 500 S&W 4" with 130 rounds included (great buy), A 65-8 from AIM (not to great a buy ) and a Ruger Alaskan 2.5" in .454 casull (Excellent buy)

I added these stocks to the 65. The ones from AIM were in reallly rough shape.

Some say the Alaskan in 454CS has more felt recoil than the 500S&W. I say they are wrong.

This 4" model 631 was gifted to me by a dear friend with some serious health concerns. It belonged to his brother, that he lost about 2 years ago, and he said he wanted me to have it. He also didn't want to burden his wife with such things, so he sent it to my FFL here.

I already had the R to S smooth targets, and happened to find the perfect holster for it right here on this forum. It's the first 32 magnum I've ever had. Never knew what I was missing.

His brother was like many of us and kept a gun or two around the house. This one was known as "the fruit bowl gun". Thank you from the heart "T".

A nib s&w m24 44 special with a 6.5" barrel in nickel. Why I purchased it I'm not sure I was blinded by the nickel.

Nothing wrong at all with the 6" 28-2. Earlier this summer I was shooting pin tacks with mine @ 7yds double action and driving them right on through the cardboard.

Went from driving tacks to splitting playing cards double action using my 28-2 6",28-2 4",27-2 3.5",29-2 6.5". Lots of fun!

Purchased a new 610-3 in September as a birthday present. Its been out in the woods but so far no action.

In October I found a little-fired (if at all) 581 at a gun show. I shared that find in a post here at the time.

I also picked up a model 60 no-dash at the same show. It needed a little cosmetic work that I think turned out quite well.
