Your most accurate revolver ?

I am very impressed with the accuracy of my S&W 696, but my K-22 (Serial Number K15XXX) has razor edge accuracy.

My 686 w/ 6 in. barrel is my most accurate handgun...period. I recently bought a excellent used 586 with 8 3/8 in. barrel but have not taken it to the range yet.

A 6" 686, which is a bit ironic as I don't particularly care for the aesthetics or the nose heavy feel of the gun when just holding it in hand or dry firing.

From an aesthetic point of view I think S&W did a great disservice when they went to the full under-lugs on these guns, particularly so with anything over 3". Further, when holding the gun and dry firing it feels way too nose heavy and out of balance. Yet...

when I shoot it I either am not noticing that attribute or it doesn't really make any difference because this gun is uncannily accurate. And that is of course what matters most.

I can't honestly answer this question because I own several nice S&W's that I've shot very little or not at all. These include a 4" 686, a 6" 586, and a gorgeous 4" Model 15.

I have shot my 4" Ruger GP-100 extensively with factory ammo and my reloads.

Accuracy of the GP-100 seems to be consistently VERY GOOD.

I would say that it's the gun that I CAN SHOOT the most accurately.

All my K and N frame S&W's will stay under 2" at 25 yards if I do my part.
The guns that surprized me the most with their accuracy is a Uberti 1851 36cal. navy revolver and a Uberti 1875 Remington in 45 colt.
Even with their crude sights compared to the modern S&W adjustables they will hold 2" or under at 25 yards.

Out of 100+ S&W revolvers the most accurate I have ever owned was a 6.5 in model 610.

Three way tie. 625, 14, and a Ruger OMBH in 45LC with an aux cylinder in 45 ACP. All three will shoot cloverleafs at 25m with the hand load they like (off a rest).

Standing on two legs - An OMBH in 41 Mag with a short barrel and a hand load. It is still a mystery to me after all these years, but, I can make hits at ranges that most folks would call BS on unless they see it in person.
