Greetings!

This afternoon I was sorting range brass that I picked up last weekend, and observed a "new to me" headstamp: Red Army CR. This is brass (not steel case) and Boxer primed.

Does anyone have any experience with this brand of brass?

As always, thanks in advance for your help!

No experience, but in looking stuff up, Century sells a bunch of ammo under the Red Army label. It's all imported from Eastern Europe and such.

One of the manufacturers is listed as Igman, from Bosnia and Herzegovina. I've begun to see their stuff listed online under their own name; and it's been brass for the most part.

Another is Mesko, from Poland. I think they also are brass-oriented.

All the Read Army ammo I've used is steel cased (7.62x39, 5.45x39, 9mm). Quality was good, no failures. Brass cases are probably of the same quality, try it...

Decent stuff. Maybe a bit dirtier than usual? Like monarch, or equivalent.

Funny!:)
I just got done reading about Red Army standard ammo in the July 2014 Guns magazine. The article or advertisement was written by Holt Bodinson. Talking of the 5.45x39 and 7.62x39-"The ammunition is non-corrosive with polymer-coated steel cases and lead core, FMJ bullets". Sold by Century International Arms, Inc as stated in the prior posts.
