I recently picked up a Winchester 1873 Limited Deluxe Saddle Carbine 18” in 357 magnum that I’d been looking at but before that I was looking at the Winchester Sporting Deluxe 1873 with a 24” barrel. It comes in 357 magnum,44-40 and 45 Colt and since I didn’t want to go with the same caliber I decided to go with 45 Colt, mainly because I recently picked up a Colt New Frontier in the same caliber. Both Levers are made by Miroku for Winchester and the fit and finish is top notch. I picked it up Friday and plan to put a Marbles Tang Peep sight as I did for the 357 magnum. Hopefully will get the peep put on tomorrow but in the meantime here’s some pictures of it. Grade of wood Is V/VI but the grade IV on the 18” looks a little better. The last picture is the 18” barrel.

Beautiful gun!

I have a .45 Colt in a Marlin 1894-S and shot thousands and thousands of rounds through it as it was my S.A.S.S. competition rifle. It was a great companion to the two Colt SAA Revolvers I used as well (same bullets).

Let us know how it shoots!

Very nice! Miroku does some great work and has for a long time. The stocks and color case hardening are outstanding! I remember some friends of mine that had Miroku O/U shotguns for trap, skeet, and sporting...beautiful!

Thinking about one of these with 20'' barrel now that the supply has increased. That's some very nice looking wood there. Not a huge fan of the case colors but whatever.

I have an abundance of .357 components just setting around so have to use those up. ;)

win/miroku

I have one in 45 colt also. It was shooting high with the open sights, went with a Marbles tang sight with a higher front sight. Perfect. Beautiful workmanship, wood and metal.
My grandson liked it also, very little recoil, and hand loads with cast lead bullets are cheap to shoot. Ended up buying him a Henry brass frame octogon 18" 45 colt gun. Both are lots of fun.
