Sig P365 or Glock 43 which would you choose and why?

Neither. But, if those two were on a table and I was told I could walk away with my choice between the two it would be the Sig hands down. I'm not anti-Glock, just never owned one. I do have several Sig's and I like them all.

Looking forward to seeing a P365 in person, but I am intrigued.
Need to hold it and if possible, shoot one. Need to try the trigger!
No G43 for me because the triggers on several I tried were not appealing at all. I don't expect 1911-ish, but do expect workable.
I am a 1911 guy first and foremost so that makes me a trigger-snob. ;)

I'm really interested in getting some range time with the new Sig in the future, but it would really have to wow me for me to buy one.

I currently own/occasionally carry a G43 and really like it. Granted, I've swapped out the trigger shoe and had the trigger guard undercut. Now it fits my medium hands perfectly and is a real fun gun to shoot.

That being said, I still carry my J frames way more often. They are just too comfy.

Neither one, the Sig is new and un-proven, I currently have 8 Glocks but never a desired a 43, I am going to purchase an XD-E in .45 acp as my next carry gun.

I kind of got suckered into the Glock 43 and the flat face trigger on it actually makes it a pretty good shooter and I do like it but the 6 round mag is just too little. I think 10 rounds should be the minimum in any carry gun.

I have looked into the 4 round extended made by an Israeli company and it has gotten good reviews. if I can get my Glock 43 to hold 4 more rounds, I think that will save me from having to spend another $512 to get a P365 not knowing if I am heading towards a trap. Speaking of which, I was looking at the Gen5 Glock 26 but the match barrel is causing some to have feeding issues because the chamber has been confirmed by Glock the chamber is tighter than the Gen4 and the end of the slide where the barrel is inserted is also tighter.

the P365 from all accounts said it was a little snappy so not sure I will like that. The Mod2 I have is very soft recoil and it is a bit bigger but just as easy concealable so it would not make sense to go with something even smaller that will be harder to hold onto. I think a lot of us when a new pistol comes out, its so easy to become too caught up in the excitement but looking at the Springfield MOD2 subcompact it is the best of both worlds, good trigger, very reliable, small enough to conceal easily, has a 13 round primary carry mag and a 16 round backup, great ergo, why go with anything else. I was looking at getting a 4 round extended mag for my G43 but it would only be 10 rounds and the grip would be just as long as a full size.

I'm happy with my 43. I used to spend a lot of time and money always looking for a better mousetrap, but I think the 43 should meet my needs for a long time.
