How do the little language flags work? I clicked on Spanish, but nothing happens. I thought that Lee's post yesterday said that's all you need to do?

Is there some trick to this? Or, does it do something other than translate what post you're reading into the selected language?

I like the idea, but seem to be having problems in the application.

While viewing your thread, I left-clicked once on the German flag and everything changed to what I am assuming is German...

Lee also said it would be a bit before all of them work because the software is going back through all of the past post and translating each one. French and German work, not sure about the rest yet.

Yes, that's it: Those two languages work. I guess the others are just taking longer to load than I'd thought they would.

I do know (some) Irish and I was hoping for an Irish flag as well!

The only Irish word I know is " Slainte " and come to think of it that's probably the only Irish word I need to know.

Click on the flag and wait.
If that page has not already been translated, it has to be sent to the translator, translated, and sent back.

Once the spiders finish with all the archives, it will occur much faster, because all the translated pages will already be archived.

If a page has new material since being translated and archived, it will take slightly longer than an already archived page, but probably NOT as long as now.

I do know (some) Irish and I was hoping for an Irish flag as well!

Scots-Ulster would be more entertaining, and yes, it is considered a real language.

Hey. Where did the Dutch flag go? There was one but it is missing now.
Never mind I do read an American forum so I do read American English.
Writing proper English is an other option.

Worked for me. Although I don't speak any lanuage other then English, my stepmother is French. She said she could understand the French translation. Although she said the grammer was poor, it was understandable.

She also asked me to mention, niether her two brothers, or uncle did any running. They were all three KIA in 1940.

A lay-by is a place to pull off the road, a rest stop or safe wider curb. May have other meanings, but that's how I've seen it used.

I tried Arabic, but it took too long. But I started getting ads for Arab singles.
