Hello - I've been lurking here for quite some time and have been bitten by the revolver bug again. It's been around 20 years since I switched to autos and have quite a few, but, at a gun show last month I saw a '56 Colt Detective Special, and things started to change. I've since acquired a S&W 64-5 and a brand new 22-4 Model 1950.

I reload and it's a pleasure to not have to crawl around picking up brass.

I'm pretty sure I have to stop this buying process, or at least slow down...

Welcome from Texas Ken. Great forum, have fun, learn lots, share what you know.

Slowing down ain't working for me. If you find the secret let me know - - oh never mind.

Did you actually say you were gonna slow down?

Really? Gonna slow down? I said that two safes ago, so if you find a way to slow...wait a minute, okay, that thought passed. Whew, that was scary. I just joined myself, look forward to meeting a bunch of folks way smarter than me. Bythe way, that slowing down thing........ why fight it? None of us are getting out alive, so lets have some fun!

I did figure out a way to slightly slow down the buying process. Don't go to gun stores or shows. But, GunBroker is still there and at least I can look at stuff. I only have a C&R license, sooo, it kinda keeps me safe. I have been buying grips and holsters on eBay so at least I'm slightly feeding the obsession.
