I will watch Conan O'Brian's last two shows FOR SURE!!!

Conan O'Brian is a comic! I tried to watch his show a couple of times and never made it more than a couple of minutes. Billy Mays is funnier...still.

Sadly, Jay Leno needs to be doing two shows daily at Branson, MO.

He's old, dated and his pace could relate w/demographics of the not so new Nashville.

Maybe he could squeeze in between Dolly Parton and the Baldknobbers or open for Yakov Smirnoff...

Well last night he bought the Kentucky Derby winner and put a mink snoozie on it and had it on stage watching restricted NFL film highlights to the tune of 4.5 M. Pee wee herman, ben Stiller and Robin Williams were on. I actually laughed out loud at some of the parts. Say what you want, but he's getting his licks in. And I'd be doing the exact same thing if I was in his shoes. F'em if they can't take a joke :D

Actually, he is a very gifted comedy writer as evidenced by his Simpsons episodes...but he can also tell a joke.
I've always wondered about that Sip. I love the Simpsons, when I can watch them, and thought he would be hilarious in person because it took talent to write for the cartoon series. But he didn't show any talent for comedy on his show at all. It's almost like Jim Carrey, in his movies and skits he is an absolute riot. But, when he is a guest on a talk show he tries to be funny, but it just doesn't happen.

I'm no fan of Ferrell, and he can't sing worth a crap, but the rest of the finale was great! Conan appears to be quite a guitar player.

He's no singer, yet he came out and gave it a decent shot.

Loved the cowbell. Reminiscent of the SNL, Blue Oyster Cult skit w/Christopher Walken.

Know what? I gotta fever & the only cure, is more cowbell...
More Cowbell

I'm an equal opportunity critic. I don't like, or watch, any of them!

I loved Johnny Carson and Ed McMahon and watched quite a bit of David Letterman and Paul Schafer, once upon a time.

I like Jimmy Kimmel, think he's paid his dues, and Jimmy Fallon seems to hold promise.

The last few years I don't find myself watching any of them very much.

Too much competition from TCM, Discovery, History, AETN and the fact that I usually fall asleep early and wake up really early.

I still like the sidekick format and enjoy a good duo performance when one plays straight man to feed the other such as; Bud Abbott & Lou Costello, Jackie Gleason & Art Carney, George Burns & Gracie Allen, Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis, Dan Rowan & Dick Martin, Tom & Dick Smothers, Mel Brooks & Harvey Korman, Dan Aykroyd & John Belushi, Gene Wilder & Richard Pryor and even Cheech & Chong, to name a few of the older crew.

I'll take a bit of Groucho Marx, W.C. Fields, Henny Youngman or Don Rickles on occasions for some classic bits.

Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, Keystone Cops, Marx Brothers and the Three Stooges performed sight gags & slapstick to perfection.

Laughter is the best medicine.

Never will be able to name everyone, yet my partial list of comedians is remiss w/o my main man, Rodney Dangerfield...

Great bit but I doubt he actually bought the horse....or the car...I can't see NBC authorizing the expense...now the stones song, yeah, if it played, NBC has to pay..I'll miss Conan and hope he lands somewhere else...the other night Robin Williams was a hoot Bronx cheering every chance he got to NBC....

I've never liked O'brain but he's better than Letterman. At 10:30 I watch "My Name Is Earl".....I'll watch Leno when he returns.

Leno showed that he had no class by not retiring after Conan took over the Tonight Show. I used to watch both of them on occasion...but I can't stand Leno after all this. I hope that the "new" Tonight Show with Leno bombs and they have to beg Conan to come back. Neil Young was awesome last night...Long May You Run, Conan!!!!!

I would think that if Conan does shaft the network really big, that he would only be cutting his own throat in finding another job, even if he already has one. But then I've never understood the workings or reasonings of Follywood.

I'm not a hater, I don't really hate Conan or Jay ... but neither one of them have the comedic genius or timing of Johnny. Hey, there's an idea - buy a set of those old Carson tapes, and plug one in when its time for these new shows to start!
