I've seen models called "Carry Comp Pro" and others simply called "Pro Series". Anybody know the difference?

Almost order a M60 Pro 3" which is only a few dollars more then the standard 3" (wish it didn't have the lock). Went instead with a 442 no lock over the Pro 442 as I didn't need the moon clips.

Based simply on what I've observed:

Pro Series = Non-ported barrel, no ILS, regular stainless finish, cylinder relieved for moon clips on some models, dovetailed sights on some models

Carry Comp Pro = Ported barrel, ILS, matte black finish

FWIW one major item of confusion is that the 632 Carry Comp Pro has a spurred Chief's Special-style hammer and standard screw-adjustable rear sight, whereas the 632 Pro Series has a concealed-hammer Centennial frame and a dovetailed rear sight! Mixing-and-matching hammer styles and sight styles within the same model number is unusual and largely unprecedented; I have no idea why they did it.

Chris: "I have no idea why they did it."

Because they can?
I think they did it to annoy me.

To quote the "Njorl's Saga" episode of Monty Python's Flying Circus: "We interrupt this program to annoy you and make life generally irritating." ;)
