It is everyone and anyone else’s fault that Mr Daley the Mayor is troubled by violence. Hishonor the Mayor of course, just as they did in DC, will drag the city into court again when the SCOTUS finds against Chicago.

Who does this POS think he is? If he even makes even one attempt to bring any "outside" help into this situation he should be impeached, tried for treason, convicted and hung for the miserable bottom sucking scumbag he is.

I wish I knew how the Daley family has hung on so long. Decades of corruption w/o penalty. His anti gun attitudes have fostered unconstitutional anti gun laws in so many little burgs in the suburbs.
IL has so many former governors in prison for felonies they ought to have a "Governor's" wing in the penitentiary. Now, they're waiting for Blowjobovich to join them. Of course, the Democrats would like us to believe that our dear President who came from that sesspool of a political

It's been pretty funny the past two days. An 80 year-old veteran shot and killed an armed intruder (parolee with numerous drug and weapons charges). Reporters have been asking Daley about it and he looks like even more of an ass than he usually is.
I watched One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest last week. There really is a fine line between sanity and madness. It's good when people like Daly speak out so that they can show everyone which side of the line they are on.

I agree, this kind of scumbag is a disgrace to this country...(along with some other notables) and should put away for good.

Easy. It's for them, the beautiful people, not for hoi polloi (us). Some of them even have guns themselves, but, being better people, they, of course, can handle the responsibility. Like Carl Rowan (not to be confused with his son, a great guy).

Mayor Daley must have something going for him, and the majority of Chicago's citizens must agree with him. They elected him and keep re-electing him. People generally get the government they deserve and elect, and re-elect. Voters don't elect politicians that the majority don't agree with their policies.

I was an armed security guard living in Chicago. Driving home from work I was stopped for a minor equipment violation. The cop tried to arrest me in uniform for unlawful use of a weapon. I convinced him to check first as I was legally allowed to carry one hour prior to and after my shift. Scary, I thank God everyday I live in a more sensible state (Co.) That city is doomed under that administration.

The same thing most policticians in New Orleans do. Cemetaries full of faithful, voting, registered democrats to help maintain the status quo. And it probably doesn't hurt things that most sane and productive people left the dung heap that is Chicago to get back to reality.

At the time of my retirement, my secretary was from Chicago. She never quit talking about how wonderful Chicago was, and what an uncivilized, backward, uncouth, hell hole Texas was. Everyone kept asking her if she hated Texas so much why she didn't go back to Chicago. Her answer, she made more money and lived better in Texas. Go Figure??
