tyler t grip inserts

martywj, this is what I've been waiting to hear - someone here actually taking delivery of the product. Like krehmkej, this gives me some hope.

I am curious though, I, along with a couple of others, have indicated payments received by them in May. Perhaps they're not going in exact chronological order but I'll be happy if I can get mine before the snow flies.

Thank you for hope sir, I think they add nicely to your revolver.

If I were you I would call. You will get the recording then hangup and call again. Just keep doing that until you get through. Call after 1:00 PM Central time. According to what the guy said in a previous conversation that he knows nothing about the computer and you have to call after 6.

I ordered a T grip on June 11 -- I got it today September 24th -- they said it would be "about" three months -- it was worth the wait --guess they are just behind

Got my 96.00 today, alls I can say is good luck and good riddance. After looking and feeling a friends tyler t's I don't thin are as good as people think they are. To me a pair of Hogues or something else feels alot better, haven't seen a pair of t's fit right anyway. I will go with something else.

I bought one of these several years ago, tried it on the gun. IMHO it was $5 or $10 wasted. I still have it and box it came in, sold the gun though about week later. Not sure why I sold the gun and kept the grip, just one of those silly things we do I guess.

Old navy,

Perty sure you could sell that rascal right quick here on the forum--lots of folks including me like 'em and look for 'em...

I just hope they don;t move their operation to China like everyone else. It looks like there would be more competion for them.

I was looking for parts on numbrich gunparts a couple days ago,saw under model 15 accessories grip adapter polished 4.95,thought what the heck,WOW was I suprised when I recieved an original Tyler T grip in the box 3-R S+W roundbut,#1259980, like new ,so I ordered some more of course, they arrived ,same some have like water spots on them but otherwise like new, havent tried to polish them yet,but who cares, for that price, passing this on to S/W guys hope no one buys them all for E----, they have no other tyler models,I tried black they had some 3-r but they were not in such good shape, also they have the original model 14 muzzle- break #955050,30.00 one like it on GB for 150.00.Got a couple for my collection,no promises but thought I would pass it on,good luck,REB

I called and spoke with Mark today (who sounded amazingly like Bryan in both chipper demeanor and "long in the tooth" catch-phrase) and he assured me that the backorders are finished and they're working diligently in attaching the backs and getting the orders out. He advised that all backorders should be shipped within 4 to 5 days which is exactly what Bryan had told me a month or so back.

I'm hopeful but not overly so.

I got the grip adapter I ordered through Numbrich gunparts Monday. I haven't tried it on my revolver yet, but it looks pretty good. It is black and cost less then half what I paid for the Tyler T-Grip. Will try to put it on the gun and get a couple of pics.

I would hold off on placing any orders until they finally ship out the back log. I called a buddy that works for a firearm accessory company and suggested that they might want to purchase Tyler.

I ordered T-grips for my M38 a few months ago; they cashed the check at the beginning of June. This thread actually makes me glad that I'm not the only one who's had troubles.

I'm up in Tulsa, so if they've really shipped out the entire backlog I should finally be seeing mine in a couple days *fingers crossed*

Second the Kudos to CALREB. Ordered and just received two sets of polished bright alum No. 3R Tylers from Numrich (Gun Parts Corp) PN D1A1A16A or 1259980 for $4.95 ea. One may be slightly used (hard to tell) and the other is new in original box.

I suspect Numrich got these as used or as NOS from gun shop closing, parts liquidations, etc. I sure they didn't buy them new from Tyler for resale at these prices.

I have T-grips on 4 of my J-frames and my Model 22. Very happy and never waited more than a few weeks for them. They are a family operation that's been around a looong time. I've used them since the 70's. With More CCW permits than ever, and S&W selling J-Frames as fast as they make them, I am not surprised they are behind. I like to support small business America and think some get spoiled by the "I want it NOW!" fast service McDonald's culture in America. Slow down and smell the roses folks.
