Grip frame Screw on 1951 K frame?

What is this screw on the grip frame front. I'm new to S&W's but I haven't seen this before...

It is called the strain screw. Used to put pressure on the mainspring.
The correct adjustment is all the way in. Some back it out to decrease pressure but it is not correct or advised.
