M&P 15-22 Picture Thread

I keep getting funny looks from the guys at the range however. I don't think they like my scope.

The color looks VERY photoshopped in that picture.

Bingo! I wondered how long it would take before someone would call me on the pink gun.

Doing this to a 15-22 would be almost criminal. But I think my 8 year old daughter would like it though.

Well after christmas, all of my family gave me gift cards fir every gun shop in the tri state area. But after so long I just might be done.

So after having my son hijack my scope for his 15-22, decided to get a Sightmark 4x32 on a QD via RRages.com; now able to attach the offset red/green dot near the rear BUIS. BTW the Sightmark 4x32 has really good eye relief.

Jubz.... what is the point of leaving your iron sights on there? It seems like the gun would be better off without them now that you have TWO other optics on there.

Back up iron sights, in case the scope gets trashed and the battery in the red dot dies. I have the rail space, BUIS's is always a good thing

My M&P that I got myself a week b4 Christmas.. Newset upgrades are a magpul stock and magpul XTP rail covers... Next will be a sling then the magpul flip up sights.. I will be going for a black and Od green color scheme on this thing. I will put a new pic on tommorow.. Tuk

Finally got to a decent range with my M&P today. Sighted in the Truglow open red dot at 50 yards. I got my magpul xtp rail covers in the other day after ordering 2 sets of black , 2 sets of OD green, and 1 olive. They sent me 2 black and 3 dark earth! I had to hand paint them with a rusic dark brown.. My Magpul stock is under investigation with e-bay. He got my money but I have no stock..
Anyway the gun shot well today. I put 400 rounds through it. I had 2 or 3 missfires. I shot the federal 550 brick. Wind up shooting silouettes from 25 to 200 . Hearing the pings was fun...

What did you paint your rail covers with?

Rust-Oleum Multicolor Textured spray paint (Lowes). The original rail covers were tan. I hit 4 with green spray paint. Then hit them with this textured paint. The brown covers you see got 4 coatings of the textured paint by them selves...Hope this helps...Tuk

yeah thanks Im thinking about going with black and white rail covers and maybe painting the stock and fore grip also but didnt know the durability of spray paint or if I should try duracoat

finally gettin' mine on here!

nice and simple, wanted to do a lot more but it'll do, for now.

i was one of the unlucky ones to get a 15-22 with the ejector issues but s&w cust svc was great, good turn around time and no more problems. didn't get any free mags, but oh well. it's workin!!!
