Just watched the War Wagon again the other night. Both Lomax and Tau had gun belts strapped over their longhandles in the morning.
So I keep a pistol in the drawer in the bathroom, anyone else?

Of course ! Plus several other rooms have weapons. No children are present.

Well, I don't "keep" one in the bathroom...but I have been known to take one in with me, a gun magazine (reading, not ammo) or two, and a cup of coffee...for a while. :)

Ahhh yeah, if I'm im in the bathroom theres a gun in the bathroom, 'cause it's in my pocket

Believe me, after I get done in the bathroom, no one needs a gun in that room.

ewww David, that's just...ewwww

One always goes to the John with me, but I have yet to figure out how to shower with it...

Only a peestool, and I would never fire a gun and take a chance of creating any kind of spark in there mister! BOOM!

I would like to see Myth Busters investigate that one.

I don't keep a gun in the bathroom. I either have it on me or the closest one is about 4 steps. I live in what we call, up here, a cottage. Small home and three guns covers the whole first floor. My 24 year old daughter, Meghann, has the entire second floor. God help anyone who gets past me... ;)

Proper Etiquette

If you are in a public restroom and your gun falls out of your holster and into the next stall, what is proper etiquette in this situation. I have learned by watching CNN that toe tapping is a no-no.

Retention holster keeps that from happening!

Why do you make this sound so strange? I would say this is when you may be at your most vulnerable point if a home invasion were to happen. So yes, I have a pistol in the top drawer. And yes it is in a bag with a desiccant pouch. Since bad news seems to happen only when you are least prepared, does this mean it will never happen to me? Here's hoping...

There is always at least one with me wherever I go. Also, six live in my bathroom, four live in my bedroom and there are several others around the house, plus what is in my gunsafe. No kids in the house.
