I had to share my great experience and absolutely ridiculous find on M&P fullsized pistol.I found this deal through a michigan gun forum.

This place had a post on GB which had since expired. They had listed quite a few BNIB 9mm, 40 cal and 45 cal M&P's with 2 magazines for $399 and $10 shipping. The auction started at that price and there was no buy now function but I took a chance and called to see if they would accept the starting price and do the deal. They did. They also mentioned that they had a lot in stock and they were interested in moving them. Needless to say my friends and I are new owners of brand spanking new M&P's. My ffl said that price was ridiulous and well below wholesale.

I hope this helps anyone in the market for a Brand New in Box M&P fullsized.

Ask for Jimmy at United Pawn in Arkansas 870-931-7296.

I'm not affiliated with them by any means but I am one truly satisfied customer.

Nice deal. They just have M&P 9 and .40 left. No .45, sadly. :(

I've been telling people here about OMB Express selling M&P's for $398 with free shipping for over 4 months now. Obviously not below wholesale. I bought one and my brother bought one, then I got a BG380 for $280 and ordered an M&P 22 for $289.

And if you're a cop you can get even better prices than those!

AHHH if they have 9's left you are a GOD!!! i've been researching the past week or so for my first handgun and just the other day decided to go with the M&P 9 full size for my first thank you thank you thank you!! calling right now haha

I bought a 9 from them about 3 weeks ago from GB $399, $10 postage, $8 for cc use . He said he got special pricing on them .

Well if that don't beat all...

While I THOUGHT my brother got his M&P 40 for the same $398 I paid, I found out when he got his he took advantage of the $50 rebate so he only paid $348 total.

I'd like to start a thread to see who has paid the least for a NIB M&P so we can get an idea what prices we should be searching for.....

I thought I've read that OMB Express only sells to LEO's for new guns?

I checked the OMB website and they said their firearms are used ones only. Did u buy new or used ones from them?
Look at the civilian section.
How to purchase a firearm from Express Police Supply

Quoted directly from OMB's website on their "Criteria" tab of the M&P 40C with Night Sights:

As a Law Enforcement Distributor for Smith & Wesson MFG, Walther, and Sig Sauer Inc, the sale of this firearm is restricted to the following personnel:

Current / Former Law Enforcement
Current / Former Corrections Officers
current / Former Military
Current / Former Firefighters (including volunteer)
Current / Former EMS or EMT
Current Security Guards
Current Commercial Airline Pilots & Flight Deck Officers

Other Public Safety personnel may qualify, though individual circumstances will determine if this is the case.

If you do not qualify, please visit our USED FIREARMS or CIVILIAN FIREARMS section for other options. If you have any questions about qualification, please call us at 1-800-411-4662.

I hope this helps clarify any issues. If you don't fall into any of the above categories for OMB, then you will have to purchase the firearms used or new as a civilian. If you "hover" over their FIREARMS tab on their menu, you will see a dropdown menu that will allow you to click on either "First Responder Purchase", "Used Firearms", "Civilian Firearms *new*" or "Agency Purchase ONLY".

HTH,
Mat

Just got my M&P9 from United Pawn:

SN DVF2xxx
Fired cartridge date: 11-30-2010
Price: $422 Shipped ($404 + $10 shipping + $8 for using CC)

Starting price was $399. Someone had bid on it, so I had to bump it to $404.

Looks like a winner.

Posted this on MP9 or MP9L? thread, but as it's more 'deal oriented' than size of 9, I thought this is a better place to post. For a new gun it's a pretty slick deal, IMO.

( below is repost from last night)

If you really want an M&P in 9mm (WITH night sights) and are into having a threaded barrel on it, this is a pretty good deal from jetguns.com

I checked the website 6/13/11 at 10:48 EST and verified this price, but I couldn't verify S&H, as I didn't go to purchase (I don't need another 9mm or a threaded barrel) so I'm not sure that there's actually a S&H charge--typically jetguns doesn't charge tax or S&H:

it's tempting for me to pick one up all the same--I'd like to know exactly what night sights come on it--having a gunsmith add decent night sights on after purchase can run $100+ extra alone. I think I'll call them in the morning to find out.

S&W M&P 5" 9MM w/threaded barrel $473+SH
Smith and Wesson M&P 9mm with a threaded barrel and night sights from Jet Guns.

S&W M&P 9mm 5in Threaded Barrel NMS NO IL NS -- for Sale at JetGuns $473.00

If you're serious, I'd move fairly quickly. While these guys almost always beat Buds on price, they don't typically have a lot of volume. Unlike this one, on some guns they may carry a particular model at great prices, but they may not even list it on-line--you have to call. They are reputable and unlike some companies, they don't charge a 3% 'uptick' for credit card payment.

Hope this helps someone one way or another!

As I suspected, Jetguns is (as usual) shipping this for free. For $5, it can ship with insurance, although I've never had a problem. They shipped my last purchase to my gunsmith in less than 48 hours.

With Crimson Trace offering a $50 rebate until the end of this month, you can get into a gun with that, night sights and a threaded barrel, and have something very distinctive for close to whole sale cost. Also, you don't have to be military, a police officer or first responder for the price.

I don't think you'd have that hard of a time reselling this gun for about what you paid for it down the road---especially if you live around a lot of military and/or law enforcement persons.

As for the threaded barrel, it looks kind of cool, but I'm not into suppressors that attach to them----the cost of most suppressors is more than the gun itself and they're illegal in about a dozen states. For some, that'll be a deal breaker. They do take the edge off the fatigue you get from shooting though (even with most ear protection) as they're obviously much quieter.
