Hi everyone - I have recently come across a collection of S & W posters, original art, etc. I have 3 very large framed art that were supposedly given to dealers when they reached the $1M mark in sales. I can find NO information out there that even references these. I am attaching picture of one of them. Two are by the same artist as picture and the 3rd one is a different artist that depicts police officers.
Any idea as to the value?

The info. is probably true. I know Bill Orr, now retired owner of GT Distributors, S&W's largest police equipment dealers, in Georgia, had various items like those posters, etc. that he was awarded by S&W as his firm reached various sales levels, like $1 Million, etc. over the years. S&W was always prety good about providing incentives to their dealers. Ed.

Thank you Ed. I still am unable to come up with any information. I would think there would be SOMETHING as all are signed by the artist and numbered...

These were promotional posters for gun sales. They were for 3 different series of guns. The one you showed was for N-frame revolvers. If you sent your dated reciept to S&W, they would send you a poster with your serial number on. I have one for a 10 5/8 inch 29-3 I purchased. Not sure of the number made. Maybe a 1000 or 2500? I believe they were during the early to mid-80's.

The artwork I have measures 29" x 37" matted and framed. They are all numbered out of 1000.

I still have mine framed and on the wall in my reloading room. I bought a #57 for IHMSA competition. In that print, the shooter holding the 10" #29 is Phil Briggs, one of the early IHMSA competitors. He wrote the Siluetas column in American Handgunner. There were 1000 in each series.
