Some 15-22 Porn for You
I think I'm done with my low cost loadout. Got her new eyes all sighted in at the range today, and she asked for a photoshoot while she was still hot.
Here's what I added onto her:
DBoys Rail Covers - LOVE them. They look great, fit great, and make the rifle a lot more grippable for my big hands.
DBoys Carry Handle - Kinda like it. The finish is black paint that chips easily. I really had to jam the scope in, and if I try hard I can still get it to wiggle. If I did it again, I would probably try a different handle (I might still).
NC Star 4x22 scope with carry handle mount - Like it a lot. It's very sharp and clear, the mil spec recticle is great, the eye relief is good, and the build is solid. I really had to jam it into the handle, but I'll bet it's the cheap handle that is the culprit. I like it on top of the handle, my eye seems to reach there naturally. The mount is see through, so you can still use the irons. And you can't beat the price!
Tapco orange front sight post - Like it a lot. Gives improved visibility against black targets
Hogue Grip - Love it. Super comfortable. Fills my big hands better than the stock grip. My only issue is that is doesn't have a hole for the takedown pin spring, so it doesn't fit like factory, and the pin will start to work itself out after a few hundred rounds. I think I just need to disassemble it and seat it better. The grip is fantastic, though!
