Nice bunch. I'm also a big fan of doubles and triples of models I like. Hope you enjoy your new one

Here you go 410bore, this is yours (mine now). As you can see I had a HI-VIZ sight installed for improving my older eyesight focus picture. She is no doubt a keeper.

does anyone know what the product code and special order code call for on the 617-1 listed above?

617 PC

Model # 617-1
SN # ETC0001 thru ETC0306
Product Code: 170122
Special Order # 8190

Exported to Wischo in Germany in 1998.

Picked up this no dash 617 a few months ago but someone had replaced the factory wood with rubber...luckily Had these 90's era targets in my parts bin.

Does anyone have an early 617 that shipped with target grips?
Or were these always shipped with finger groove smooth combats?

NIce 617's 410 Bore. I love that 17-6 with the 8 3/8! I have a 6 inch and been looking for a its bigger brother!

I am with revho, very much on my short list and green with envy.

I picked up a 617-6 8 3/8" a couple of weeks ago. It was made in 1982. I believe that that was the last year for the 8 3/8" barrel.

I plan to try it out this weekend.

some of the first 617's shipped with target grips. I saw an auction end on gunbroker (should have bought the gun )
that was a 617 6" with Target grips and box showing "TS". i believe it sold for right at $600, not too bad....i didnt jump in because the main ones i have been trying to get are the ones with the target hammer and trigger, this one was standard.
