$10 says a person could go thru your house and find a lot of stuff that is made overseas; stuff that you could have been purchased from American companies, stuff that might even have been made by American company subsidiaries.

You're using a computer. Open it up, look at many of the components. Assembled in China, etc.

Be very, very careful when you start questioning the partiotism of others.

everything in my house that says " Made In [wherever]" was imported LEGALLY from a company who follows laws regulations and pays in due-process...not some Chinese scammer who low-balls online with an inferior product marketed using a legit buisness' reputation

It would be very hard to prove that statement, in view of all the recalls American companies have had on products they thought were made in accordance with all laws..... only to find out later that someone didn't follow all the rules.

But then, as we all know that never happens here, etiher.

duly noted...but when the postage on the envelope is from China it puts most doubt to rest

I have been in contact with Magpul and they validated from the pictures ( posted in my thread) that they arent genuine--PTS or otherwise-- and that it has been a widespread issue

I am waiting for the phone call from my local Scheels store when they have my set of FDEs in....

everyone is entitled to their own opinion on this issue--but defending illegal buisness is something that irritates me to no end

In one of your other posts, you mentionwed having a Tasco Red Dot.

Do a search on Tasco They are/were sued by and American optics company for patent infringement.

My point is, in many cases, it is extremely difficult to know which companies and what legal issues are ongoing with products made over seas.

Magpul PTS is a Hong Kong company which is now part of China. Postage on an envelope from China doesn't indicate a problem exists. Magpul PTS lists 6 dealers in Hong Kong.

If Magpul wants to stop or stem this, they need to put some information/photos on their website about what to look for. That would be easy for them to do.

Questioning a person's partiotism is uncalled for.

They work for you--super--however remember that you are undermining an AMERICAN company to buy Chinese garbage to save a buck--how patriotic of you

I joined the Army when you were 5 years old and got out when you were 22. I'm not going to fling any more mud here, but mn_doggie is right, be careful when you start questioning the partiotism of others.
