Hi folks,

Looking for a shooter grade model 15 snub as a big brother to my 34 snub. What would be a reasonable price for one be these days?

Thanks in advance and everyone stay safe.

i just picked one up for 250 and it will out shoot my 4 inch 15 any day of the week, but the sad news is i had looked for one for a long time before i found this one, but it was worth the wait! good luck

I paid $310 for my 15-4 , 1977 model, in December last year, with shipping and FFL came to $350.

The model 15 snub has become my new favorite carry gun. I think you will be able to find one in the $350 to $550 range depending on what condition you want. I picked up a NIB for $500+ transfer off gunbroker.

If you can't find a snubbie 15 you might expand your search to a short barrel (2 1/2") Model 19 or 66 (if you don't mind stainless). I just don't see that many snubbie 15s (though they look cool).

Thanks guys. I 'm good to go on 19's and 66's. That 15 looks so much like my lil 34 in a larger frame, which is my favorte shooter these days.

I picked this one up a few years ago, used to be a cops gun, sold by his Son (sadly for him), it's been chromed for carry use and sports a really nicely aged set of stags. Shoots very accurately with 140 - 158g jhp's. I carry this one in the truck.

IIRC,I paid $400 for the blue 15-4 w/box and $425 for the nickel 15-3,no box. Both are high condition guns. I added the stags. Most of those I have seen sell lately have been in the $500 range. Very high on the "cool factor",if you ask me.

You guys are feeding my hunger with your beauties. Prices seem to be in the $500.00 range on the net. Must be patient as have 2 gun shows coming up next month. Hope to score a shooter there and may have a line on one from a local gent on a 95% gun.

I think this Mod 15 was the one of the first "boxed" guns I ever bought. That's been... a few years ago.:D

I added those diamond PC magnas 'cause I wanted to and it looks cool....

Here are my two. Got both the same day at different LGS's. Paid $400 each, out the door.

They're six years apart, but both are excellent, accurate shooters.
