Tomorrow is "Fat Tuesday" so Happy Mardi Gras to all of you. The parades are fun but I have had enough for this year.

And Caj You be careful over there on Bourbon Street. If you are on the balcony throwing beads don't let those uplifted T shirts make you lose you balance.

One of our parades were canceled Saturday so it will be held next Sat and I'm sure I will be working that one.

We celebrate that hoedown here in St. Louis too. One year, my Union decided to sell beer with the profits going to our retiree's dinner fund. (our Hall is in Soulard). We tapped 84 half barrels and made about $11.00. (I'm kinda fuzzy on that, it may have been less) But we had a ball!!

Yeh we always had a good time going to the "Pass" Parade and we usually tried to hit the Biloxi parades on fat tuesday..I did see that they postponed one cuz of rain...ALWAYS A BLAST!!! Sure do miss the gulfcoast..they always called me a transplant or a few referred to me as a "country yankee"..Hey "it never rains on the Pass parade" right? hAVE A BLAST FOR ME!
