Sadly, the days of the sub $300 pre lock model 66's are a thing of the past.
Locally in NC, a 98% 4" 66-2 with no box or docs would bring $475 to $500. More with box and docs.
A shooter grade, IF you could find one, brings $425 to $450 - regularly - with no haggling either!
When folks are paying $600 + for ugly revolvers with laser etched markings, MIM parts and locks, you can't expect the price of good looking, truly classic revolvers, with roll marks and forged parts to remain static.
Its not the folks "paying too much for used revolvers.." driving the price up. Its the lack of quality and high prices of the current production revolvers. Regards 18DAI
