I just started using Double Tap +P .45 ACP 255 grain hardcast SWC in my Model 22 Thunder Ranch revolver. Lord have mercy. Strong medicine.

What??? 45acp +P is strong medicine??? Have you not shot a hot .44 magnum or a .500 magnum.<<<<That is strong medicine.

I believe he meant "strong medicine" in the contex of self defence against humans. I agree!

Exactly. Previously, I had be using 230 grain RNL handloads and various other 230 grain commercial loads. The 255 grain hardcast semi-wadcutter is a thumper. Hell, the meplat on that chunk of lead is .38!!
