Hey, folks. After years of casual research and false starts, I finally bought my first handgun, a S&W 422 with a 6" barrel and the barely-adjustable plastic sights.

My goals are primarily to get comfortable and competent at the range, and eventually expand into larger-caliber handguns, if I can afford the ammo

So far, I love my little 422. It seems super accurate with Mini-Mags and I wish I could go to the range every day.

I joined to discuss ammo, shooting, and hopefully find an inexpensive retrofit for a rear sight that's adjustable for elevation and windage.
