The number of guns someone owns is kind of like a secret to me. If a lot of people know then it isn't much of a secret is it. Besides, how many people can keep something quiet very well? Chances are if you tell somone then another ten or fifteen people you don't know, will know what you have. If I think you need to know and I can trust you, I'll tell you. If I don't then you don't need to know. It's strictly on a need to know basis. Just because legal requirements are necessary to purchase firearms doesn't mean I want the neighborhood in on the deal.Why buy a safe to keep your guns in if it's no big deal? Don't you trust people? Using common sense does not mean you're sporting a tinfoil hat.
