I have never heard of one. If the liberal argument that the mere presence of firearms increases the risk factor for mass shootings were true, then you would naturally expect gun shows and ranges to be at the top of the list for frequency of these events.

It must be shocking to them that its just not the case

Logic has nothing to do with many (if not most) liberal arguments....

I do remember somewhere a guy got confused, thought he was walking into a jewelry store in a strip mall to rob it, went into a gun shop right next door where several off duty cops were at the time, several people drew down on him and left him looking like Swiss cheese..

Like my wife said, "When was the last time some crazy tried to shoot up a police station?" Whenever it was, bet he didn't get too far.

If there's a chance that guns will be around they'll think twice before pulling a stunt called crime.

The only type of mass shoting you would ever see or hear of at a gun show, or range would be a mass of of people shooting the dumb A that decided it would be a good idea to attack such an event thinking it would work.

The only shootings I have heard of at ranges was when some troubled fool went to the range to rent a pistol, go in and shoot himself.

Now if you want to rent a pistol or rifle, you need to do it with a buddy, no single rentals anymore out around here!

I think the common thread in most of these shootings is being a "loner" not connecting with your friends and community.

There is an answer out there, but it has nothing to do with taking guns from the good guys.

Happy New Year!

Here in Massachusetts, the gun shows I have gone to collect magazines at the door and put a zip tie through the action of all guns people are bringing into the show. Seems kind of ironic since you can buy a gun and the ammo inside the show anyways.

Same here, but if you have a CCW you can just walk right in the door. They only worry about the weapons that you openly try to walk through the door with.

Pretty much all the gun shows here are like that too, but there are these things called knives, which can cut those zip ties.

If you expect to sell the gun, you have to cut the zip tie. Who buys a gun they cant fully inspect?

For that reason, I always thought these gun show inspections/zip tie gimmicks were silly.
