and a bow hunter, I am a member of an events team for a company based in The Netherlands too where I will travel to countries and give seminars and workshops all about the art of bow hunting. Furthermore I am also a keen photographer. I have been raised in a small town, I´m a country girl and I absolutely love the outdoors. I have some lovely fond memories of my time living in the US too.

I´d like to share some of my other passion with all of you..

Next i´ll take you to my home country of Scotland.

Just some of the beautiful beaches, could pass for a tropical island, if only the summers were what they once were

Orange groves, seeing trees like this in the town is not uncommon you can pick and eat them. All sorts of tropical fruits are grown here due to the excellent climate.

OK i like the pics as well, but...
you start off saying that your "not a Smith and Wesson fan"
on a Smith and Wesson forum and show a bunch of pics about everything but firearms...
why?
just a country boy asking questions

Yeah, but the pics are great (and she's cute in that camo too).

Welcome 1911Girl.

How come i never had English teachers like you? All my teachers were like 105 years old

Great photos! Always wanted to visit the UK

I think you had bad luck there :p, Though I´m an English language teacher, seems to be a popular career choice with young folk looking to work abroad. (IF you can get work)

Welcome to the forum young lady. Some stunning shots you've posted, including the headshot. ;) That's a truly beautiful area in which you have chosen to live.
f.t.

Welcome!
Looks like a travel brochure! I don't suppose you're a travel guide in your spare time too?

Very nice shots (including the rabbit)!

Well I´d have to say yes, or we´d be gun-less here. :D

I´ve got a Glock 19 (with green). I have lots of friends with firearms. Many of us shoot with the police (who have their own clubs too, it´s fun).

I´m looking to buy a S&W 1911 pro series when I have the money, we´re in the middle of building our house at the moment.

So yeah i´d say Spain is gun friendly, bow hunter friendly too. Its not as strict as some countries like Australia.

Only thing that I don´t like is that suppressors are prohibited, but in Scotland they are not. Everyone uses them. Other than that I have no other complaints about living here.

How easy / hard is it to buy a gun in Spain? Im just curious cause, Im guessing, youre not a Spanish citizen but you are in the EU?!?! Or does that not matter?

It is easy because I´m from Scotland which is in the E.U so I just applied for residency which was filling out a form of where I lived (my contact address in Scotland) a photocopy of my passport and €10. It is though impossible for non residents to have a gun, only if you are a resident. There are over 2 million Scots and English living here. I just need a copy of my residency card, passport and to sit a small firearm awareness test like a basic hunters ed class (very easy). Next you pay for the license which isn´t expensive at all.

Easy peasy :D
