Nope, velco straps hold each half on it own side. Some air between unless you have something sticking to the side, light etc. You'd have to remove that.

And this is for transport and storage. Not my main HD, use the 870 12 gauge and 9mm for that.

Yes, its so Chicago the coppers here in Central Obamastan would not be fooled, and Il law specifies that your weapons are to be unloaded and cased in a "approved" weapon specific case, so this wouldn't help ole billy... is kinda kool though... Billy Magg
