Reloaded is different than remanufactured. In today's climate that price is perfectly reasonable for a quality FACTORY remanufactured ammunition.

I can personally vouch for BVAC's 180 GR S&W 40. Quality stuff. I have heard good things about Freedom Munitions as well, but BVAC made a customer out of me with their 250 rds of 180 GR for ~87 + shipping. Not the best deal but it beats the hell out of waiting outside Dicks for two hours every Thursday or checking Walmart every day twice a day.

If all you are looking for is range ammo don't hesitate to buy quality remanufactured. I suspect as things get better it will inch closer to a more reasonable 0.25/rd.

Now if only the .22lr bulk would stay in stock for more than 30 seconds...

If you are looking at it in simple terms, yes a re-manufactured is brass that has been reloaded. The primary difference comes in who did the reloading. A skilled re-loader, that knows his rifle and has developed the round for his rifle will always be more accurate than a round that has been re-manufactured to shoot fairly accurate in several brands of rifles.

In this case, it is reloaded from a factory who specializes in reloading.

Cheap is never good and good is never cheap. You always get what you pay for. It's best to just stick it out while the prices continue to drop. They are dropping (slowly) but at least thats a good thing.

It is shameful that I get excited for 0.37/rd before shipping for once fired brass, I know.

At the same time I also appreciate manufacturers bringing to market quality ammo that makes it affordable to practice shooting.

If I had the time to go out and find the factory new stuff I would... I just can't dedicate that much time to getting it.

Well after reading several reviews on numerous forums on this ammo and no issues with it and glowing remarks I ordered a 500 round case of .40 cal. Will let everyone know how it works out.

I don't mind buying gold because diamonds are too expensive

I have fired off 1000s of rounds of Fredom Munitions factory reloads... the only platform that sometimes has an issue is my 1911... Sigs and M&Ps, FN, gobble it up.

I have used their stuff in 9mm, .40cal, .45 cal, .357 mag, .38 spl and have never had an issue. I had one round of .40cal that had the bullet slightly depressed. I wrote them and they asked for the QC number on the box. Sent that in and they send me a box of 50 rounds for free to make up for that one bad round.
