So I got my first 15-22 this past weekend at a gun show. Took it out and shot it that day, and I loved it. Of course I had to modify it so here it is

-Magpul MOE RVG
-NcSTAR 45 degree offset
w/TruGlo open red/green dot
-BSA sweet 22 3-9-40 rifle scope
comes with calibrated height drums for 36, 38, and 40 grain bullets so your trajectory will be right if you have different ammos
mounted with Nikon p-series rings
-VTAC universal sling attachment
-3 point sling I acquired in the Marines

I will be picking up a flashlight/ green lazer combo and case tomorrow at work.

Also any tips on good mock suppressors, just want to give it that tactical feel

Thanks, yes I did. Only thing was the color was hard to get out of the rippled surface of the grip. I still have the sights to do.

Just placed my order with NDZ performance. Grabed the fde charging handle, trucker lady engraved magazine catch, and the stripper chic magazine push button. Originally ordered the black charging handle until I came across their Facebook page and saw the fde colored handle. Called their customer service number and they gladly changed the order with no questions asked. It should go along nicely with the rest of the MOE FDE goodies I already have. Pics will be up as soon as I receive em. Anyone have experience changing out the mag buttons, anything to it?

Currently waiting for my recent corneal graft to heal before I can get back to shooting again, but my last trip to the outdoor range was a lovely summer evening outing for the 15-22, now sporting a Kineti-Tech barrel shroud and the Eotech G33 magnifier (which only took 8 months to get through to the UK from time of ordering!):

On the bench (with my 9mm carbine):

Now, another bonus was the opportunity to drive a fellow club member's Rolls Royce. which he'd brought to the range.

...

A 6.5 litre multi-fuel Rolls Royce, powering a 16-tonne, 1960's vintage FV432 mk2 battle taxi

Note to US readers - this is *not* an M113 derivative, but the British Army FV432 armoured troop carrier; this one was in service as an 81mm mortar carrier before being retired. Fully legal on UK roads, albeit at a 20mph limit (much more fun to roar up and down the disused runway of the old WWII bomber airfield that our outdoor range is situated on :D )

why do you have a vertical grip and an AFG? if you are in need of a vertical foregrip you can just use the mag/well

Using the magazine well as a vertical grip is a good way to introduce misfeeds and ejection problems. This is a long known problem.

yes, if you start yanking down on the mag. but holding the magwell, wont do anything.

Just because I prefer the VFG as a close-in option rather than using a magwell grip. That's the great thing about the 15-22: so many options available to suit all shooters. I've been running mine like this for nearly 2 years now, and it suits me just fine. YMMV :)
