And please don't say your wife :D

I think at some point in a mans life he gets where he has collected Alot of stuff. Some things cool, some not. I figure this would be a fun thread to see what else you guys got kickin around besides guns. Or maybe even a really odd gun

Here's my contribution, a 1962 Cushman Trailster. Definately not something you see everyday. The first pic is mine and the second is what it will look like after i restore it.

Pretty neat. I had a Cushman Eagle and also a Mustang in the 50's. Wish I still had them.

I don't see the kick starter on the one in the last picture that has been restored.

Yeah i think it has. I don't really know Alot about these, im no history buff as its 13 years older than me. Im pretty sure they all came with kickstart

It's there.
Look at the pic of the unrestored one where it sticks out in front of the motor and then look at the restored one and you will see it.

Ok, I do see the kickstarter now. I had to study the picture a while before it just stuck out at me. Kind of blends in with that camera angle.

A little odd but very cool, as far as stuff already in my Photobucket. Here's my Grim Reeper whisky decanter with little scull shot glasses. That's a Colt New Service for size reference. And a mummified rat which now hangs by my workbench in the garage so not really in the house.

Those are really cool pieces. Your a man after my own heart.

Well, right off the bat I'd have to go with this:

Its a Ben Pearsen bow that i bought from a tech I used to work with a long time ago. He needed money & I had memories of archery from my youth, so that's how I ended up with it. I don't know if you can tell, but its leaned up against the wall by my front door, I guess in case of home invasion.

And this:

My sister gave it to me when we were teens, so yeah, its pretty old. If someone I care about gives me something, I won't get rid of it. That doesn't explain the bow, though. My Dad always said that I give pack rats a bad name!

As a teenager I collected coins. The I got out of it, but kept the oldest coin I owned. Over the last 43 years I've tried to find a value and all I could come up with is between $50.00 and $10,000.00. It is a Bronze coin from Ptolemy IV (circa 255 B.C.) in near mint condition. size about 1 1/4" and just under 1/4 thick. Zuse on obverse and weird symbol on reverse. At 13 I was at an auction in 1969 and the coins came up after lunch It was the first item up and most people hadn't returned to their seats, I got it for $13.25. The second item was a 1654 Shilling That a older teen ager I'd seen at shows got for around $50.00. That was the first time I heard the F-bomb in public. I don't remember what Item 3 was but it went for $3000, and the bidding was furious! They were out of my league money wise, but I've still got my treasure. I turned my seat over to another buyer, Paid for my coin, and went back to hauling peoples purchases to their cars for tips. I know: without a picture it didn't happen. (let's just say I'm Techno-retarded). I have most of a 1855 Root (32 cal.)revolver by Colt-. That's my oldest paper weight. We have some oil paintings from the 1840's that aren't worth much. I use a bunch of hand tools from the 1800'S. I have amassed a lot of stuff but it is mostly 20th century stuff. The oldest American artifact I remember having is a brick from the Harper's Ferry Arsenal. Value: squat. Ivan

I have a 6.5 ft. tall Hughes Super Falcon AIM-4F/G missile standing in my living room.

Okay...it's not actually a missile. It was a training "dummy" used for loading and for static display. Still...it looks fairly authentic.

I also have 4 motorcycles in the garage, but there's nothing odd or unusual about any of them. Well...the BMW is the same model as the one which appeared in the James Bond movie "Tomorrow Never Dies", a '98 R1200C. I wasn't even aware of it being in the movie when I bought it...I might have passed on it had I known it was the same model and color. I just would hate for it to appear that that was the reason I'd bought it, is all. Still, it's a great ride!

The bow, not really all that odd but that little face sure is! Reminds me of Jim carry in the mask
