My love for these guns started a few years ago when I bought the SW9VE. Had to sell it, but miss it, it was my daughters favorite, never a hiccup in any way and no problem with the trigger pull. Two members of this forum gave me the encouragement to buy. It was the best $300 I ever spent.

I currently own a new SD9VE.

i traded my personal glock 23, it was customized heavily (not my duty G23) for a SD40VE and a .22 LR rifle with 200 rounds of .40 range and 50 crit duty rounds in .40 as well as a brick of .22lr ammo from federal :)

best trade in a while, the SD gives you a reliable gun thats easy to shoot/clean/maintain worth just as much in my eyes as a glock. well maybe not since i got a ton of extras with mine for my glock

agreed, with the SD they did a fantastic job with ergos. before when i was searching for a nice glock alternative i looked at kahr, kel tec, walther, ruger, and other smiths. i fondled many, from the moment i picked that SD up it felt right. it felt like this firearm was made for my hand. it was comfy, well balanced, and was a blast to shoot. thats when i posted my glock for trade for a SD and got the deal i did
 
i pickup a used sigma 40 several years ago because it was cheap. it is one of the best guns that i got around the house. fits my hand better than my duty glock. dropped in a galloway trigger spring kit and it shoot just as good or better than my glocks. i even carry it off duty sometimes because it works. never given me any problems not matter what ammo i feed it. even shoots my reloads great too. i keep an eye open for another one. i like when people talk bad about the sigma and want to sell them cheap.
 
Bought my first sd9ve, can't wait to shoot it. Bought a magazine today and a sticky holster to try.

I have the sd9ve and I'm concidering buying the sd40ve also but I may end up with the .40 Shield because I need something smaller.

I recently purchased an SD9VE for a couple reasons. First, it was hard to resist the $269 price for a brand new striker fired polymer frame 9 mm with a lifetime warranty. Second, I have become reasonably accurate with larger metal framed hammer fired 9 mm's and 1911 .45 semi-autos, so looking for a new challenge. The SD has provided said challenge by making me pay more attention to fundamentals such as grip and trigger control. I don't know if the SD will ever be as accurate (for me)as the larger metal frame handguns, but it's all about the quest!
 
I know from my experience a few years ago in this forum that we have a ton of sigma owners out there, and we had lots of participation. I'm hoping they'll come back and post here again. :)
 
Bought my SW40F in 1994 before the ban. It served nearly 20 years as my night stand gun. A M&P40 has taken its place, and the Sigma is now sitting nice and cozy in its original box. It's 11lb trigger has made me a better shooter, and the grip is still the best ever made IMO.
