New Hand Guard for 15-22

I was looking at my 15-22 the other day which has a quad rail hand guard. Noticed that 75% of the rails do nothing but hold rail covers.

Since the 15-22 has been out awhile now, I would love to see S&W produce a model with out the rails at the 3, 6 and 9 o'clock positions and replace them with the new Magpul M-Lok holes. This would allow placing the rails where ever you need them, (or not at all )

I actually prefer the rail covers . . .
