I'll try to find pix of my dogs......nasty looking mix breeds, a shepherd mix and a pit mix. Yep, really nasty, if you don't count their cuteness....and.........
Sometimes they bark.
I have guns for home defense - because, well, sometimes my dogs bark. Sometimes.
Well, I'd be remiss if I left out Owen. Said I'd never own a small dog then my wife brought Owen home from the shelter. He was puppy mill dog, had not known life outside of a cage. Wouldn't get within 30 ft of me for 6 months, now he's on my lap all the time. He's got me for sure
Good to see a fellow water fowl hunter! Those are some great looking hunting buddies! I have never got the privilege to hunt with peakes before. I have only ever had black/yellow labs!

Here's a picture of my pure bred Boxer Kai.. I've posted a few pictures on other dog threads here. Shell be 4 y/o December 27th. She follows me everywhere and is very protective of me.
Here's my killer. Don't let the picture fool ya', I'm ready at a moment's notice.
Dixie's a stray we adopted about nine years ago. Probably thrown out of a car by some idiot, she won't go near the window when riding in one. Actually a very good alarm, barks at just about any noise. Not very friendly to strangers at the front door. All the squirrels and chipmunks in the neighborhood fear her. Very smart and protective of my wife. All I could want in a dog.
My 6 year old Jack Russell (rough coat) Terrier and riding companion. With 30,000 miles under his collar he is unbelievably photogenic. I have never done anything in my life that creates so many smiles, thumbs up, people pointing, or dumb looks in my life. People taking pics on the road, at gas stations, at stop lights (sometimes unsafely), and on the freeway happen every time I ride. He's done 500 mile days on the bike, camped out, and has his own rain suit that doubles as a wind break. He hunkers down behind the fairing at speed but hangs out beyond the windshield in towns. He always has his Doggles on while riding and he loves curves!
Don't know how I missed this in 2014 but I am happy it came back to life. Lots of good dog pictures and comments praising man's best friend ... "all true."
