If you could only keep one handgun which would it be. It would be hard for me to get
rid of K-22, but for practical all around use my m-19. 6" would be my pick.

S&W M-66-3, four-inch barrel. Has Pachmayr Presentation rubber grips. But the Ruger SP-101 with a barrel a fraction over three inches will conceal better and still offers .357 power if needed. Winchester's .357 145 grain Silvertip gives some 1200 FPS from the three-inch barrel.

But the S&W is easier to shoot really well at distance and gives higher velocity and a sixth shot. It's better for uniformed or outdoor use and will still conceal well in the right holster. Has wonderful all-round potential.

My SP-101 with 3" barrel..............Uh, Oh, I hear footsteps! Bet them moderators are coming for me? :D

I possibly would go with a 3 inch model 60.

For Carry, Home protection and a little shooting at the range.

One and only one handgun... period... no exceptions? S&W Model 18. No if's and's or but's. I'd miss my beloved N-frames. I'd miss my L-frame. I'd miss my 1911. And I'd miss my wonderful Ruger Mk. II target competition model. The 18 would not be ideal for cc but that is not one of my driving concerns. The 18 would not be ideal for HD, but the simple truth is I could handle that by simply loading up the Rem. 870, a 12 ga. load of buckshot is exceedingly effective at social distances. That just the way I see it. Sincerely. brucev.
