I never planned on being retired early but getting cancer sort of changed that, so now I'm taking every day for what it's worth,,,, my way!
If it wasn't for the wife though I would have never made it through the adventure.! ;)

Me neither, we had a plan. Get the mortgage paid and both car notes taken care of, then retire together.
Never counted on a peripheral motor nerve condition forcing me onto disability.

Here we go !

Ok, so I just turned 60 and I've been working in manufacturing for 45 years. I have a great job that pays well, but some days I just don't want to go to work in the morning. ..today's that day....

One of my friends asked me: 'What you gonna do today?'
I said: 'Nuthin'
He said: 'That's what you did yesterday.'
I said: 'I know, but I didn't get finished.' :D

I've been proud to know a number of Indians.

Speaking of which, I'd really love to sit around shooting the proverbial breeze on Snubby's front porch one day. His "gimpy old Injun" schtick doesn't fool me at all. :)
Ain't gonna be much porch sittin' today. It's looking nice out and I may just have to go gimpin' around in the mountains.
