Illegerate has no meaning. I didn't know what a bumper chute is. Here in the desert, real men don't go around with them, ever. I think this thread needs an expert in Coprology.
I'll sometimes use words of phrases from different languages. I've had friends from different cultures and they'd teach me some stuff and some of it'd stick. My Father taught me some Blackfoot when I was a youngster. I can count to ten in four different languages and to five in German (that's as high as Shultz counted on Hogans Heros).
Fortunately my wife understands me. Today I thanked her in Blackfoot and it occurred to me that just saying thank you was a mouthful of syllables.
I guess you could say that my vocabulary is the result of influences in my life.
Yes, I know what a bumperchute is, never used or even owned one but my wife has.
If the spelling ist korrekt? now you will be able to count to ten im Deutsch.
Sex,Sieben,Ocht,Neun and Zen.
I forgot to add a:![]()
That's the zeitgeist of 21st Century America.I used to work with a guy who thought [the] Rosetta Stone was a PERSON.
Today, ignorance is worn like a badge of honor.
Only if you're trying to give English lessons instead of trying to get it said. For example Helicopter is a noun it's not a verb. How many times have you heard someone say "Let's helicopter him out of here"?
The correct way would be to say "Let's get him on board a helicopter and fly him out of here"![]()
Oops, as they say in explosive ordnance disposal. The storm's EFFECT will have little AFFECT on my travel plans.

I thought we already had plenty of experts in coprology here.
Absolutely. I've come across a few coprolites in my time![]()
Surely no one here resembles that remark![]()
