Beer drinkers....

Boulevard 80 Acre is probably my favorite beer. Perfect mix of lightness and hops. It's a hoppy wheat beer and is delicious. Alaska Amber is up there as a favorite too but is not available in Missouri so it's a real treat to drink it. I also really like Budweiser but will drink almost anything.

Boulevard Pale Ale & Schafley Brewing (of St. Louis .question on spelling) pale ale are my two favorites, both brewed here in Missouri & are remarkably similar... malted barley, hops, yeast & water are the only ingredients... but the type of yeast, the type of hops.. the type of malted barley all can make a difference on how the ale turns out...

porters & stouts are too heavy for me.. lite beers & most lagers are nearly tasteless..............

Bronx Brewery Pale Ale is real good. First tasted it at Madison Square Garden. One of their house beers. Sierra Nevada Pale Ale is another good Ale. I also like Brooklyn Lager. Imported beers, I like Peroni from Italy.

Saturday starts Oktoberfest.

I'll fly the Bavarian flag, have a few Pilz and hope I score some,

Oktoberfest.

I do feel sorry for Munic with all the "refugees" coming in at a time when they are in full swing making money and good cheer.

Times are strange.

I'll top of my pilz.

While I was in Kosovo I hung out with a bunch of German cops. Got to really liking Paulaner wheat beer.

Hard to find in Southwest Virginia. :(

I have a six pac of Paulaner .5 liter glasses that are still new in the box.

You find the beer and I'll supply the proper vessels.

Some of my favorites are as follow;
1-Yuenglings
2-Peroni
3-Guiness
4-Harp
I will say that we have a couple of good micro brews in my area, one is specific to Liberty Steak House and is called Deep River Wheat the other is Red Oak brewery.
Molson used to be pretty good but not so good the last time I tried it . Lowenbrau used to be good until Miller bought it and it isn't even fit for the hogs now.

I like MANY beers. Right now I'm trying to cut a few lbs. and get back in tennis condition, which is about 180-182 lbs. at about 9% bodyfat. SO, I'm drinking only light beer. I like..
Labatt Blue
Yuengling
Miller
And my favorite is Coors Light.

Time to time I'll go to Total Wine or Whole Foods & try some new beers. A few months back I tried Hobgoblin, VERY GOOD and I highly recommend it.
Also, Don Chelada Michelada's are excellent with beer. You must try it.

New Glarus Brewing's Spotted Cow. Though, technically it's a Ale not a Beer.

Dinkel Acker is a great German Pilsener, but it's increasingly diffiecult to find it in the States.

This afternoon I went to Whole Foods and had a Karbach, Three Legged Lab, Imperial Stout on tap. The stuff is very smooth and does not taste like it has the 9.2% Abv. which it has. It is severed in an eight ounce snifter, which is appropriate for that level of alcohol.

In honor of Arik's love of bugs and beer... My beer this afternoon is from No Label Brewing Co. of Katy, TX. It is a dark wheat ale called Black Wit-O.

I've had wheat beers before, but never a dark wheat ale. It is light, almost fruity, more of a wheat beer influence than what I'd expect from a very dark beer.

At 7% Abv this stuff packs a punch.

Arik, even though its No Label Brewing, there is a label on the bottle with a scary spider pictured, get a friend to pour it in a glass for you then you can use the bottle as a target.
