Anyone try the KSDgrips??

Thicker than the factory grips yet thinner than Hogue rubber grips would be a great thing for my 4566.
Too bad the original owner didn't hang on to the original grip and pin and include them with the gun when he sold it to the LGS.

The factory grip pin is used to hold the Hogue main spring block in place. That's what the Hogues screw into. If you take the Hogues off, you should see the pin.

How do these fit as far as covering the frame? I have a 915 that looks good with the factory delrin grips, I found a Hogue wooden grip for very cheap but it doesn't quite cover the same... and there are some marks right under the grip in the front. Factory covers it, Hogues don't

I see a whole new lot listed on the auction site but I also see that the prices have been jacked up about 40% over the last two months. I don't think I'll be ordering any more.

I decided to try a pair of the orthopedic's with engraved emblem for my 4506.

Ordered in Early Sept. Still waiting. They are sending another pair as of yesterday. Hope this works out.

I seen that too.......for the 39xx grip it comes out to a net increase of 8 bucks a grip over what they were originally.....grips went up in price....shipping came down

Good call,.....I stand corrected. I had not noticed the reduced shipping charge. I know ebay rides herd over shipping charges to protect their cut of the sales price, so I'm not surprised at a bit of juggling. IIRC, the 39xx grips were $48 plus $10 when I first saw them listed. They were $60 plus $10 when I bought a set last month. Now they're $64 plus $4, so they've actually backed down a bit.

Here's what happen..Shipping was 9.99$.I was using 3$ for shipping and I was using other 6$ for ebay and paypal fees. One guy from new Jersey.I guess he has store told me he is going to buy a lot so he said give me discount.I said okey.I said every 10 I will send you 1 free and sometimes 2.He bought 10 set.But system charged him just 1 shipping money 9.99$ I was using that extra money to pay the fees.I lost 90$ from there. He bought one more time like that.I lost other one.I tried to set the system up for additional shipping charges for customers like that in future with negative result so.I changed the shipping from 9.99$ to 2.99$ This way.if anybody buys 10 I will just loss 27$ and I will consider it discount.

Hang In There

KSDgrips,

Try not to let the minor issues get you down. As a consumer, I for one appreciate very much your efforts to provide products, specifically CS9 grips, for which S&W has pretty much lost interest in and no other aftermarket manufacturer or supplier is currently helping out with, you are the only one to help with grips for this particular pistol. Your grips show absolutely beautiful workmanship and I feel are well worth the price you ask.

There will always be some problems with new products and services. Your products are great and you are very responsive to messages which I appreciate. Thank You !

RELAX I'm not upset and could care less what you charge for the grips. I happen to like them and look forward to trying a set. Regarding the price increase due to your shipping cost issue, usually when I make a mistake I don't ask someone else to pay for my error. Sorry I don't.

Regarding the grip that I broke. I simply installed the grip pin and the wood chipped because the pin hole was too tight. If we are supposed to file the hole or drill it to the proper size, you should tell us. You offered to send me another set of grips, I simply declined and you gave me my money back at my request. If you want the chipped set back, provide me a shipping address.

Regarding the grip that has yet to make it. The provided tracking number doesn't tell me anything or when delivered. Maybe they got caught in customs, I don't know. If you sent another set, and if I end up with two. I'll send one back. You offered to send another set, I simply said Fantastic.

Sounds like good customer service to me. Again, I'm looking forward to trying a pair and thought I'd say thanks. No need to stoke the fire any hotter. Take care of your customers and they will take care of you.
