Anyone try the KSDgrips??

I received the KSD Grips for my CS9 today, they look so much classier than the stock hogue or modified delrin grips. They are beautiful, excellent workmanship, and they came within the exact time frame that Mustafa advised, which is amazing considering this was international shipping. Thanks KSD!

Any install issues?

Do you have any for the 6909 that have the engraving like the factory grips? The ones listed on eBay do not.

.......I just noticed the grip panels with the S&W medallion for the M39...........WOW;)...................and the recently listed version for a P220.................my 4506-1 may have to wait ;)

Man, do these grips look nice! I think I will buy a set for at least my 4506. Here's my question for you guys that already have them.

I like to take my grips off for at least every second or third cleaning. Do these grips lend themselves to easy off and on?

Hey everyone - a few updates.

1. Big thanks to KSD for working with me to resolve this - great customer service so far.

2. Pictures attached - I think these should better explain what I'm referring to, and I included the Hogue plastic bracket for a better comparison point (as well as the two grips side by side).

3. Aside from the issues in getting these installed, I have to say, these really do look awesome.

Mr Eric.I sent you new block today. You'll receive it in 10 days but Our boss said short block wont cause problem like that.it might be something else.Try your idea with new block.I really want to figure this out.Thanks.

I couldn't stand it any longer. Just checked the listings and found two sets I really wanted,...........one for the CS9 and one for the 3953. I really believe the best use of these grips would be on the double-stack models where the Houges are just too thick, but I couldn't resist ordering some nice wood for my carry guns. The range guns can wait.

I received my order for 2 sets earlier this week. Pictured on a 3914 and 5943ssv.

Very easy to install - extemely nice fit.

pmosley......those look fantastic.....I am still waiting patiently for mine that I ordered for my 3913...but after seeing how good yours look I really wish I would have got ones like yours with the S&W medallion;)

Very nice. How is the feel on the double-stack SSV? Compares favorably to the OEM Delrins or closer to the Hogue wood or rubber?

The attention to detail and workmanship is magnificent. You will no doubt enjoy your new grips regardless.

.........22 days from clicking the "buy it now" to my mailbox...what a nice saturday afternoon surprise......and in my opinion 22 days is pretty darn quick from half way around the globe....and a full 12 days sooner than the latest delivery date promised .......and I couldn't be more pleased with the fit and ease of installation.....the only "tweak" I had to do was polish up the grip pin with some 500 grit wet and dry and a drop of gun oil on the pin cause it was tight....I mean real tight....like I was afraid it might split the wood tight:eek:......and now I understand how the front of the grip is anchored...(I was a little slow on the first explanation:rolleyes:)....the grip locks in tight up under the notch on the bottom of the "beavertail" and obviously the pin holds the bottom:rolleyes:...my hand caliper says the girth is somewhere between stock delrins and rubber Hogues;)....and a quick beta test of 75 rounds of 147 gr. remington proved no wiggles, wobbles, or movement of any sort......a real torture test will have to wait till next week....;).....but so far I am very pleased:D....4506-1 is next;).................................................................................. .......................... ......................................... ................

Damnit, now I'm going to have to buy a few more pairs.

Bough a pair of 5906 rosewood with the neat design. The salesman / owner was very polite. Came INSURED via Turkish / US Post affiliations with signature required. You need a bit patience installing them and perhaps a light fine tooth smaller diameter rat-tail file so you fit the pin hole prior to installing. OUT standing looks and fit. let's see how they wear. No banging with a hammer They fit like as tight as a snake's skin. The checkering is sharp to the touch. Very elegant, too. They feel stouter than the factory plastic grip but, Oh, so nice. I have a large hand. Might be a problem on a double stack for someone with smaller hands or shorter fingers.

Walnut grip on blued steel frame

Here are some photos of a walnut grip on a blue steel 4505. I definitely like this look. The blue steel and brown wood contrasts nicely. Now if only we could get these wood grips for the sig style decocker guns.
