What would you add to this collection next?

I would say
686/586
Model 19
Model 14
Model 36
Model 15
Model 10

You still have plenty to choose from.

Here is my S&W collection. A 686/586 is next on my wheel gun list.

You have a big .357, M28.
Try a M19 or M66, an older one if you can find one.
The M19 and M66 were the most desired .357 when I became a Cop in '77.

A K38 Masterpiece.
I have a lot of S&W revolvers in a lot of different calibers, but a model 14 almost always gets to the range with me because it shoots so well for me it makes me look good, especially on the steel plate range.

I would look for a model 19.

In my opinion, a model 19 is about as close to the perfect
firearm as their is.

Wingmaster

Model 10 heavy barrel
Model 14 target pistol
model 15 target and selfdefense
model 36
model 24-3 4" bbl 44 special
model 24-3 3" bbl 44 special
Model 624 6.5" bbl stainless 44 special

I would suggest a model 22-4 thunder ranch. Not mine but I wish, for sale in my neck of the woods but have exhausted my gun fund for the month only two days in. I must pace myself.

I'd go with the Model 14. That, with the pre-17, would make a nice pair of paper punchers, especially when cased together.

That's a Colt OMM with my 17-3, but you can see what I'm talking about.

Nice list, I have the 36, 10 and 624, amongst others but the 624 has one of if not the best trigger and accuracy of any of my guns.

I am finalizing a purchase from a member of a Lew Horton 24-3 3 inch and am just giddy about it.

A Model 27, or a Model 65. Many barrel length choices, but I'd lean toward a 3.5" M27 and a 3" M65.

Now, if you were to go up in caliber, a nice Model 629 would add .44 Special and .44 Magnum flexibility. Lots of choices there as well, but I'm partial to the 8&3/8ths. Good luck!

For whatever reason, I am only interested in .22 .38 and .357

just a thing

I completely understand, although I add in 9mm for my Berettas.

For your collection, you've got the .22 covered nicely, the 60 and 67 stainless are great, you need a little blue brother for the 28, I would suggest a nice Model 19.

I was at 60, 28-2 and 66-8 and I lucked into a 15-3, very similar to your situation

So many good options and only so much $$$ to spend.
My suggestions are:
1- M- 19 4"
2- M 19 2 1/2"
3- M 66 4"
4- M 66 2 1/2"
Once you get some of the above, and still want to add to your collection, you can move into pricier revolvers, I.e M 27's, 38/44's and the like.

Wow, you guys give me a lot to think about. I think a blue 3" or 4" K frame .357 is it. So which one?
