I can ID a J-frame at 1,000 yards with both eyes closed (You know me!), but I'm helpless here. Would someone please ID the 2 large semi-autos used by the John Wick character in this film? I can look up the specs if I have the mfg and model. Thanks in advance.

A pretty good movie as far as the gun play is concerned.

Some of the best i have seen in the movies.
Very well done. If Keanu Reeves isn't a gun
guy he was trained very well for this one.

The wife quit watching when they killed his
dog.

I liked the scene where the big Russian boss was
telling the son, "That's who they send to kill the
Boogie Man", meaning John Wick.

From what I've read, the film was a surprise hit worldwide; a sequel is currently filming. Having lived most of my life in NYC, I always wonder why the police never appear during these prolonged gun battles! The exteriors for the nightclub were shot on Chambers Street, the northern border of City Hall Park. That buillding houses Manhattan Surrogate's Court. When Wick crosses Chambers, you can see the arched passage of the Municipal Building in the background, and the lights of Police HQ through that archway. Would've been a huge PD response in real life!

P.S. Off topic, but does anyone recognize the building standing in for the hotel? I don't.

I've watched "John Wick" at least seven times...

Keanu Reeves did well, but "chicken-wings" quite a bit. Would have caused stovepipes with a big-bore...

He is a stand up guy. He donates money to charities (PETA, Sick Kids, Cancer), a bunch of his salary from some of his movies; research how much he passed out after the Matrix' success worldwide, and has said to have set up a private cancer foundation. More in PlasticWood should follow his lead.
