A Nice Baby Chief

This one came my way awhile back while helping to liquidate an estate. Looks to be unfired. It has the original instruction pamphlet and wrapping paper, but no cleaning rod or brush. I'll get that later. Condition is about 98-99%, with the serial numbered red box. I added a BK adapter for the photo; don't know if I'll actually shoot it.

Serial # is 299xx, which puts manufacture at '52 or '53.

That's a beauty! Has a small turn line so it won't hurt to take it to the range a couple times a year. Enjoy!

What I was thinking...might have to shoot a couple of cylinders-full of factory 148 grain wadcutters. Lovely action; case colors still look awesome.

Awesome! And thank you. What would the cleaning rod/brush look like? The standard short aluminum rod with the pull-ring on the end?
