I'm a big fan of J. Francis C. as well. Love too many of his movies to have a top two, so favorites rotate. Right now they be: Frisco Kid, and Strawberry Blonde. ''And the band plays on.''

I was going to say it's my mug shot, but that's been used. So it's a mug shot, but not mine. I'll just leave it at that. One member has recognized it, but as far as I know, only one.

Mine's my shepherd, Ranger. Sleeping as he usually does, with his head twisted an an unnatural angle and a silly look on his face.

No real story behind mine. It's just one of those pictures that makes me laugh every time I look at it. Not sure why, I just find it funny.
And it sorta fits the theme. All that's missing is a gold Lt. bar on the front of the helmet (to represent SO MANY former "acquaintances".)

I change mine out often. Sometimes it is our cat Newt, or one of the 30 odd feral cats we look after, or just a picture I like. I have a crate label collection so that is my recent one with a boxing bunny. The avatar pics are so small you have to choose wisely.

Mine is of a B-17 'Flying Fortress'. When I was a kid, had a family friend who was a tail gunner on a B-17. He was a great man, a true gentlemen. I looked up to him and remember his stories from WW2; and basically chose it in honor of him.

My logo-based avatar also spells my forum name. I chose my name because of my seven pistols, two are S&Ws (40c and Shield 9), and two are SIGs (P320c 9 and P250sc .380). (Creative, eh?) My others are an FN FNX-45 Tactical, a Ruger Standard, and a 78 year-old Harrington & Richardson Expert. I guess my forum name could have been "swsigrugfnhr", but that would have been a bit much, I believe. And the avatar would have been a furshlugginer mess.

I would hope all AR owners know what mine is. I made it with an imaging program and I first used it on Disqus' comment board to p-ss off the anti-2nd amendment people on ABC's news site.
