I'm up and getting ready for breakfast with my BIL. Talk about accomodating, he put in a 30AMP circuit just so I could hook up the RV!
Possum caliber .256 Winchester out of a Model 100 lever action.
Favorite beer: Working on sampling the available brews. (Note: any name that cannot be wrapped around the bottle, is highly suspect)
Favorite cookie: Oatmeal Raisin but Subway Chocolate Chip will do in a pinch.
Favorite S&W M-638
Favorite non-alcohol based drink, water.
Favorite shirt: 3x Dickies work shirt, two pocket, khaki it covers a multitude of concealed items.
Favorite snack: M&Ms Peanut and you can shove the latest attempts at indigestion!
Favorite Breakfast: Scrambled eggs, corn beef hash, rye toast and fruit cup (in season)
Favorite outdated caliber: .401 Herter's Magnum
Favorite .22 LR: CCI

Just getting in from weeding and watering the veggie garden all morning.
I picked up and seasoned an old Wagner cast iron waffle iron last week at the local farmers market. Time to put it to the test this morning.

Good morning everyone! I'm hoping everyone is having a great weekend so far!
Looks like a monumental moment has occurred here in the drift,,,,We hit 1000 pages with 50,000 posts!
Well I guess it's onward and upward!
We are relaxing at the campground retirement village, nice morning, sitting outside having my coffee.
No worriments about the Homefront and the deck project. So far my biggest decision will be when do I go unplug the golf cart and take a cruise and do I want coffee to go? Decisions, decisions!
Have fun, stay cool, drift on and most importantly.... Be safe!

Good morning drifters, it's 103 in the desert this morning going up to who knows. The sun is shining otherwise I wouldn't be here I would be hiding somewhere trying to survive. It's gonna be hot here for the next week or so with temps being above 112 every day and reaching 120+ a time or two. But hey, it is the desert after all.
Watching golf on TV would put even me to sleep...I used to be real bad about "relaxing" on the couch to watch some Sunday football. I'd fall asleep in the middle of one game & wake up in the middle of another, staring at the TV in bewilderment, wondering "What the....."
I was sleeping last night when the 50000 rolled around.
This morning I ran my first ever Autocross with my Mini. My times weren't the greatest but at least I stayed on the course and didn't knock over any cones. And still got a trophy. I'll do it again.
